Melvin Humphreys has dedicated more than five decades to the aviation industry. Beginning his career with training in Airframe & Powerplant and Avionics Systems, he has built a reputation for providing exceptional service and support to aircraft owners and operators. Melvin works closely with clients to coordinate maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and operational solutions for both single- and multi-engine aircraft.

Under his leadership, Aviation Enterprises has experienced sustained growth, driven by a commitment to customer service, technical excellence, and long-standing industry relationships. Over the years, Melvin and his team have developed a trusted network of manufacturers, suppliers, and aviation partners that enables them to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.

Stephen Shrift

General Manager and Avionics Division Director

Stephen Shrift combines extensive technical expertise with a strong aviation education, holding both an Airframe & Powerplant degree and a Bachelor of Aviation Science. As General Manager and Avionics Division Director, he oversees the sales, installation, maintenance, and support of advanced avionics systems for a wide range of aircraft.

Stephen also specializes in the testing, certification, and inspection of critical flight systems, including altimeters and transponders. His broad technical knowledge and hands-on experience help ensure clients receive reliable, efficient, and compliant avionics solutions.

Lead Technician

William VanKirk brings extensive experience in aircraft maintenance and diagnostics, supported by degrees in Avionics Maintenance Technology and Airframe & Powerplant. As Lead Technician, he oversees maintenance operations for both commercial and private aircraft, ensuring every aircraft meets the highest standards of safety and reliability.

William's expertise includes troubleshooting and repairing complex avionics, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems. His attention to detail and technical proficiency make him a valuable resource for clients.

Holding degrees in Aviation Maintenance Technology and Airframe & Powerplant, David manages maintenance planning, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, inventory oversight, and team coordination.

With more than 50 years of experience in the aviation industry, David’s knowledge spans multiple aircraft platforms, advanced maintenance practices, and regulatory requirements. His extensive training and hands-on experience enable him to provide comprehensive maintenance solutions while ensuring every project is completed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory standards.
